London at Last!!!

Ravi Insisted We Take This Picture at Heathrow!!

We got to London!! The flight was delayed by about one hour because of a runway change and then after we landed, the door to the walkway was not working so we had to wait for steps to be brought to the plane! We had to walk to the terminal in the rain and we've been doing that since! (Of course we did land at the new Heathrow terminal #5 which had all the problems before!) Fortunately the rain is actually some weather system and not the typical London rain. Ravi was there to meet us at the airport and we took the underground to the place we will stay at tonight. We checked in and then went back by the underground to Ravi's place. When we were walking to the station, I commented that we need to buy umbrellas and a nice Englishman gave us an umbrella just like that!! Basically we will settle in today and tommorrow then start doing some serious sightseeing and hopefully the blog will keep going. Tonight we are going to eat at a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Soho that Ravi likes as he is a strict vegetarian.
